Due to the success and great response to our first volunteer litter collections, we have decided to make this a weekly event throughout the Summer.
If you would like to join us, please meet from 7.45 am for a briefing at 8 am. The meeting area will be in front of the Francis Peek Centre (Carpark side).
We will provide bin bags, litter grabbers and gloves. Please bring your own masks/face coverings. Womble costumes are optional but very welcome!
We will focus our efforts on a new area of the park each week.
The litter pick will be finishing at 9:30 am when free coffee and tea will be served at the cafe.
The subsequent dates for litter collections will be:
- Monday 3rd Aug
- Monday 10th Aug
- Monday 17th Aug
- Monday 24th Aug
- Tues 1st Sept (our final one after the Bank Holiday)
